| Seemless' "Self-Titled"
debut album was released sometime last
year but it has been re-mastered, re-packaged
and re-released by Equal Vision Records
this year. Featuring ex-members of Killswitch
Engage, Shadows Fall, Overcast, and
Medium you would think that Seemless
would have a metal sound but it's nothing
like that. It's more heavy-light rock.
A majority of the songs are guitar driven
adding in some great hooks and solos.
The vocals come out as powerful, aggressive
and sound very similar to that of Chris
Cornell of Audioslave with a few screams
here and there. Another thing added
to the re-released version would be
a bonus track, "Maintain"
which is said to be live but doesn't
sound like it is live. Seemless have
made quite a good album. The only problem
with it is that it lacks that spark
that keeps it from getting boring and
repetitive.
